You are a food critic for the New York Times. You just visited a very popular fine dining establishment and want to write a review about the experience. Write your review below, evaluating everything: the customer service, the décor, the taste of the food, the plating of the food, the table setting, etc. Your review may be negative or positive; the most important part is to evaluate and discuss all aspects of the experience.

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

My name is *Y/N* and I had the pleasure to visit one of the most popular fine dining establishments located in New York City. I went on a friday night and all the workers were very busy with all the clients but still gave a good customer service at the entrance. The decor at the inside of the place was very rustic and gave the impression that the restaurant hadn't had been renovated in the last 10 years. The tables setting was like every other one, common. The customer service where very nice at all times although they were slow, I had to wait like 20 minutes to take my order and other 20 minutes to recive it.  The food had a home made taste which wasn't bad at all but if you are looking for a luxurious place this isn't the one. The lemmonade that came with the food needed sugar and more ice however, the dessert was very tasty. This is one of a kind experience because every restaurant is different and has different customer service, food, music, among others. The place needs improvment  on some things but among everything, it's a place you can go if you want to spent time with family just creating memories between them and you.

You are planning a birthday dinner for your best friend and want to give her several choices for where to eat. You describe five different styles of restaurants to her: buffet, fast food, fast-casual, fine dining, and quick service. What do you say to differentiate between each and help her decide which she likes best?

Answers

Buffets are all-you-can-eat restaurants with a wide selection of foods, but fast food is extremely rapid, and you typically walk in, place your order, pay, and then receive your food, which you can either eat there or take away. A drive-thru window is generally available at fast food restaurants. Fast-casual is a combination of fast food and informal eating. Fine dining has a more gourmet and refined vibe to it, with finer clothes and look expected. Food trucks or pop-up diners are examples of quick service dining. So it all depends on what you're looking for.

Answer:

Buffets provide a wide display of food. Customers can serve themselves. Fast food is when you order, pay, wait, and pick up food at the counter before taking it. Fast casual uses  ingredients that are typically less gourmet, servers are more casual in attitude, and the atmosphere is more relaxed. Fine dining has remarkable service and gourmet cooking, in a welcoming atmosphere. These restaurants have more employees and take reservations. Quick service is served up in a timely and convenient way. This happens through ordering at the counter and then carrying your own food to the table.

What is a protagonist in literature and why is it so important?

Answers

According to Merriam-Webster, a protagonist is, “the principal character in a literary work (such as a drama or story),” and, “the leading actor or principal character in a television show, movie, book, etc.”

(An antagonist according to Merriam-Webster is, “one that contends with or opposes another : ADVERSARY, OPPONENT.”)

A protagonist is important because they’re usually the characters that help move the story forward.

The protagonist is the character who drives the action, and whose fate is most important. The protagonist is significant because he propels the plot forward.

Although events and situations occur to characters, it is the character's reaction that determines what occurs in your story. As a child, your protagonist sees his parents' murder.

What is the purpose of the protagonist in writing?

The protagonist is used by writers to propel the story ahead—the protagonist's aims reflect the overarching story goals, the plot goes forward based on the protagonist's decisions, and the reader follows the protagonist's character arc throughout the novel.

While in many stories, "the pleasant guy" is synonymous with "the protagonist," the name "protagonist" is simply taken from an Ancient Greek word that means "one who performs the first part, chief actor."

The term "protagonist" has nothing to do with a character's interior moral compass; a protagonist can be both "good" and "bad."
